Johanna Smith is a Professor of Creative Entrepreneurship at California State University – San Bernardino, holding a joint appointment in the Department of Theatre Arts and the Randall W. Lewis School of Entrepreneurship.  She is a frequent presenter and performer on the power of the arts to transform education and the workplace. Her book Puppetry in Theatre and Arts Education: Head, Hands, and Heart (Bloomsbury/Methuen Drama) received an inaugural Nancy Staub publications award. She is an active director and puppetry coach for professional Theatre for Young Audiences and has spearheaded innovation in creative curricula.
